About Stuart Dudine
The winemaker Stuart Dudine has a great experience in the wine industry. He started his career by working with Emmerich Knoll, one of the famous wine estates in Austria. He also worked with Stephane Ogier and later at Chateau Mont-Redon in France where he learned a lot about winemaking. He worked upon the ideals of winemaking and learned the importance of terroir which affects the quality of grape and wine. Later, he came to Australia and joined at Henschke in South Australia. Here, for the first time he encountered Rhone varieties and was impressed by the fineness in way these old world varieties were handled by winemakers. He developed a taste for traditional European winemaking practices that enabled the wine to take its own course with minimal interference by the winemaker.
